About me

Hello! My name is Lily, you can call me Lilo too.

I'm a Mexican artist based in New York.

After working several years in advertising and discovering numerous talented illustrators, I wanted to try my hand at it. When I began illustrating, I became excited about transferring these drawings to other media. That's when I discovered the needle felting technique, and my craft journey began. Felting a little fox doll with my own hands was a revelation—I realized I could create many things I had envisioned and slowly but surely, I did.

What excites me the most is searching for new materials for each project and drawing inspiration from the fabrics and objects I encounter. Experimentation became an essential and enjoyable part of my process. I discovered a passion for little details, which have become a hallmark of my pieces. I love spending extra time on these details, letting each piece develop its own personality.

This hobby grew into a passion, and creating handmade products became more important to me than my beloved advertising job. Friends started requesting more products, and soon people I didn’t know began asking for them. Now, a big part of my life is dedicated to crafting these carefully designed products in small batches, exploring and experimenting as part of my artistic journey and painting murals.

My brand, Ramona Chan, is a blend of my Mexican roots and my admiration for Japanese art and culture.
